How to use the vacuum storage bags Step 1

Open the vacuum bag and place your textiles inside. Leave approx. 4 inches free up to the pressure seal and do not overfill the vacuum bags.

Step 2

Press the locking clip and slide it firmly across the entire width several times until the zipper is completely closed.

Step 3

Open the cap and suck out the air with the vacuum cleaner and stop doing so when the bag no longer gets smaller.

Step 4

Close the cap. Vacuum bags are delicate, so contact with edges or sharp objects should be avoided.

What should be taken into account when using vacuum bags to achieve the desired result?

It is important to ensure that the zipper is completely sealed. This is done by actively pressing the clip while sliding. In addition, sharp parts of textiles should not be in direct contact with the bags.

Can you compress wool, down and feather filled textiles?

With wool, down and feather-filled textiles you should be more careful and not suck out all the air so as not to damage them and the bags

Are the figg vacuum bags compatible with my vacuum cleaner?

Our vacuum bags are compatible with standard vacuum cleaners with a pipe diameter of over 1in / 2.5cm.

Are the figg vacuum bags BPA-free?

We cannot completely prove analytically in the laboratory that the bags are 100% BPA-free. However, our laboratory tests could not detect BPA in the lowest concentration of 0.1 mg/kg or 0.00001%.

Why does the actual size of the vacuum bags not always correspond to the specified size?

For technical reasons, the actual size of the bags may be up to 0,2in / 0.5cm smaller than the specified size. This difference occurs in the manufacturing process when temperatures are very high or low, which affects the plastic.

The vacuum bags are NOT intended for storing food and are NOT suitable for this purpose.(*) For technical reasons, the sides of the vacuum bags can be up to 0,2in / 0.5cm smaller than the specified size.Like other products, the vacuum bags have a lifespan and can be damaged after multiple uses.
